Updates:
  • Controls change: Camera rotation changed to left/right shift + Mouse (not right mouse)
  • Object rotation- Left/right alt + Mouse (Horizontal rotation only.)
    • Known issue: Certain angles will not detect adjacency properly.
    • Known issue: Rotating an object in hand so that it collides with an object that's been placed causes objects to bounce into the air.
  • Resource structures added for all nodes, access by selecting node
    • Require a captured resource node and sufficient free space around the sides.
    • 10 Gold for each building; +10 base resource gain per turn
    • Known issue: Placement of mineshaft at certain angles
    • Known issue: Objects larger than 1x1 can cause bouncing when passing over placed objects.
  • Tech buildings added, access by selecting Stronghold
    • Each costs 10 Gold, 10 Wood, 5 Ore
    • Blacksmith
      • Adds Bronze cannon, twice the power (ie: Range) of the basic Wood cannon; Costs 5 Gold, 5 Wood, 5 Metal
      • Adds Bronze cannonball: Does double the damage of a standard cannonball, but has half the range. Costs 1 metal
    • Mason
      • Adds 1x2, 1x3, and 2x2 Corner blocks. (2 Gold, 1 Stone; 3 Gold, 2 Stone; 3 Gold, 2 Stone costs)
      • Adds Stone cannonball: Has double the range of a standard cannonball. Costs 1 stone.
    • Woodcutter
      • No use currently (poor fellow.)
  • Camera Height Control added
    • Use mousewheel or Q/E keys to adjust height up and down.
    • Got stuck? Press Spacebar to reset to default position.
  • New Cannonballs
    • See above, enabled by tech buildings
    • New textures for each cannonball
    • Cycle through available cannonballs with mousewheel or Q/E buttons in the Shooting interface

Planned for Next Build:
  • Sound effects for object placement, cannon fire, impact sounds
  • Particle effects for cannon fire and impact
  • Linux version! Unity supports it, so once we work the kinks out, so will we!

Coming Soon:
  • Capture Mechanics revamp- Supply Chain! Cut off the enemy's territory and claim it as your own.
  • Placement System overhaul- Bug fixes! No more bouncing, full rotation for bricks.

=== Version 0.1.4 ===
Updates:
  • Linear placement! You can now paint bricks and cannons in a line. Objects will be placed if it's a valid position and it's in a straight line with the first object you placed on that click.
  • Object highlighting in Build phase: Your objects are bright, everyone else's are darkened. No more tinted strongholds and blue bricks! Selectable cannons in the Shoot phase are still blue, however.

Fixes:
  • Build height works properly up to 20 bricks high (the current cap.)
  • Bricks no longer bounce on high stacks (along with associated bugs, such as being able to place a cannon between singleton bricks.)
  • Bricks are no longer occasionally offset when building on the sides of objects.
  • Name entry field in game setup fits all 16 characters.

Known Issues:
  • Can place objects while pressing buttons on build interface.
  • Ground view doesn't take up entire frame in cannon interface.
  • Not all controls match help interface and/or are present.
  • Splash image on launcher screen is cut off.
  • (Mac) F10 key links to a system action.

Planned for next release:
  • Tier 1 Tech Tree: Make those resources worth something! Build variously shaped bricks! Blow them up with improved cannons and ammunition!
  • Bug fixes!

Coming Soon:
  • Variable Height Terrain: Build on hills to get better range on your cannons! Hide behind hills to keep from being hit!
  • Rivers: Can't build directly onto them, so they'll limit your expansion- Until you can build bridges, that is.
  • Improved Controls: Who loves hotkeys!
  • Secret Plans

=== Version 0.1.3 ===
Updates:
  • In-game options menu enabled - No actual options yet, but it'll let you view the Help screen and return to the main menu.
  • Following that- Help menus! Access from the in-game menu as above, or from the Main Menu, under Options. (Not all controls guaranteed to be accurate or even implemented.)
  • Cameras! Each player remembers their previous camera settings and will switch to them when their turn comes back up. Default camera placement is also improved.
  • Mac version! It's currently in a ZIP file, and I have no way of knowing if it'll even run, but it's there for testing. If it doesn't work, the error logs should be located under ~/Library/Logs/, I'll need those. (Attach them to the bug post.)

Fixes:
  • You can now leave Cannon View by pressing Right Mouse.
  • Hidden menu buttons can no longer be activated.

Known Issues:
  • Can place objects while pressing buttons on build interface.
  • Bouncing bricks at high elevations.
  • Brick placement offset when building on the sides of objects.
  • Ground view doesn't take up entire frame in cannon interface.

Updates:
  • Victory screen implemented when only one player is left. When you're finished gloating, click Main Menu to return to the title screen.
  • New name frame on in-game UI, allows view of full 16 characters.
  • New minimap frame- Larger frames mean larger maps, mean less eyestrain!
  • Current phase display to the left of the timer.

Fixes:
  • Minimap updates correctly when players are removed due to critical existence failure.
  • Should no longer be possible to be stuck at the end of the game.

Known Issues:
  • Can't back out of cannon fire interface.
  • Can place objects while pressing buttons on build interface.
  • Bouncing bricks at high elevations.
  • Brick placement offset when building on the sides of objects.
